Hi,
I recently gave my GMAT and scored 650. I have 6+ years of experience and have strong a extra curricular background. I am an Indian male From IT background. Just wanted to clarify a few doubts.
- Is my GMAT score low w.r.t the pool of candidates i belong to? Will i get accepted to any b-school?
- Is there somewhere/someone who can get my profile evaluated and zero on the schools I could apply to with this score (US/CANADA)
- Also can someone please suggest what I should do to make my profile stronger
I am planning for 2017 fall intake. Please help.
Hi bhaskarJyoti,
Our inputs on your queries:
- Yes, your GMAT score is low with respect to the pool of candidates you belong to. However, that does not mean that you cannot get accepted to any B-school, though it will mean that your chances at top schools will be lower. Please have a look at
this link in addition- In Canada, you could look at Schulich and Sauder as possibilities. In the US, you are looking at options below the top 30.
- We would suggest you focus on increasing your GMAT score to enhance your profile. Profile-specific questions can of course only be answered after a detailed look at your work and achievements, but improving the GMAT is one key step you could take to help yourself at this point.
Hope this helps. Feel free to come back with more queries as needed.
