Please find below my profile for evaluation:
1. I currently run a startup that i founded with 2 others in Q2 2015. We have an online and offline business model that deals with various art forms in India. We work with top brands and clients based out of India. We also manage multiple film celebrities through our platform. The company has successfully raised close to 100K USD in funding and is now a profitable venture.
-My venture also has a wing that focuses on reviving the dying and traditional art forms of India. We run scout campaigns in remote rural villages to digitize portfolios of such artists.
-Prior to my venture, i have worked as a Decision Scientist for a period of close to 2 years in ta leading pure play analytics firm based out of India(headquartered in Chicago). In that position, i have worked for top fortune 500 companies across USA and Australia. I have received multiple awards for my work as well as org wide initiatives. I was also the youngest team member for 20 million $ value winning RFP for an Australian BFSI major. Right before i quit i was leading a team of 9 across 3 projects for the Australian BFSI major. Have trained all new inductees in the company for a duration of over 6 months (600+) and also have taught outside in an institution for a period of 6 months in a particular data analytics software.
-Co-founded a social enterprise (during my sophomore) that deals with education through arts, mainly using theatre as a medium. Worked with multiple NGO's and organizations through this enterprise. The organization is still active and running.
I speak 5 languages: English, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi
2. GMAT - 650 (Q48,V33) - 75th percentile (Not keen on a retake)
3. Name of College - Mechanical Engineer at MSRIT, Bangalore, India. GPA - 9.0/10. Year of Graduation - 2013. 10th grade - 91.4%, 12th grade - 94.1%
4. College Extra Curricular - Was the president of the theatre society for 2 years standing. Was the head coordinator for the cultural fest handling a team of 75 volunteers. Have represented my college and India at an International technical competition held in the USA during my 3rd year of engineering. Represented my college for multiple theatre shows in India. Have won multiple awards in theatre and recognized in various newspaper daily's in India. Was also awarded as the top 6 theatre troupes in Karnataka, India by a leading newspaper daily in India.
