Mock #3: 740
Mock #4: 710
Real GMAT: 690 (Q46, V39)
Have been prepping for GMAT since mid Nov 2021. Gave the exam on March 17, 2022. Prep done is from Jamboree online classes,
OG, Verbal guide, Advanced
OG.
Mocks also given: Manhattan (690)
Want to give the second attempt around Mid-April. Target score is 720+.
Can anyone share tips to take Q score to 49+
Posted from my mobile deviceHi
ankitchawlaIt's not surprising that your score is 30-40 points below official Mock exams. I answered similar quey on this forum days ago. The official Mock exams always give a score which is ≈30 points on higher side so you shoul dbe very cautious of accepting those scores on face value.
On the other hand Manhattan scores are slightly conservative as usual scores that students have been getting in Actual exams are about 20 points higher than
MGMAT score which in your case is not true as your actual score is exactly which you got in Manhattan
Anotherpoint to highlight here is why would you not take Manhattan tests and stick to only a few official Mock exams. It's really important that you gain enough momentum before the exam and for it we ensure that every student of ours takes Manhattan tests and official mock exams both totalling about 10+ tests. It ensures that you cover all your loopholes of prep
Your score clearly reflects that your Quant has suffered quite a lot in comparison to your verbal score. I can make a guess here that your manhattan test score in Quant must have been below 45 which a clear indication of a candidate preparing to get score i Quant that you got.
You are at a juncture where improving your score in Quant is not as hard so here comes the good news that you needed.
You must understand the kind of mistakes you are making. Most common reason stopping students to go higher in Quant is the mistake that they often classify as "Silly errors" which are NOT silly at all.
You must order an ESR report if you have taken test at test center as it will highlight more parts that you should focus on.
I am sharing the links of my YouTube channel in which you will find about 1100 videos on quant which can give your score a great boost. To work on typical topics that you believe are your weak areas, you may subscribe the modules from my website (link shared) the cost of those topicwise modules very affordable so you would find them really helpful. Let me know for any other piece of advise or support. We also give a free demo class to identify problem areas so in case you want to get that experience then you may get in touch with me,
