Hi,
First of all, I will like to thank you for evaluating my profile. Now, here go some details:
I am an IT engineer from India (Currently in US for the past 2.5 years) with 7 years of experience in the IT sector. I am currently leading a team of 8 to ensure that application functionality deliverable timelines are met, helping junior resources to advance in their respective careers as part of the employee mentorship program and interviewing prospective recruits to evaluate their candidacy with significant decision-making authority.
My academics:
Undergrad: 4-year degree in Computer Science & Engineering (B.Tech) from a mid-card engineering college in my state. CGPA – 9.12/10 (They have a 10-point grade system).
GMAT: First attempt: 710 (Q-50, V-37), Second attempt: 720 (Q-50, V-38)
TOEFL: 112 (R-27, L-29, S-26, W-30)
Extra-Curricular activities:
Teaching: Taught underprivileged kids as part of an initiative of a local organization for 3 years and as part of an outreach program of my former employer in India.
Singing: Participated in more than 20 different cultural programs at schools and festivals; trained young students at a local school.
Organizing Events: Helped to organize several Indian community cultural events in USA – managed event funds and negotiated with local businesses to participate as sponsors.
Goal:
Short term goal is to move to London and work as a Management Consultant (Both location and job function change) with eventually moving to Corporate Strategy. The long-term goal is to start a company of my own.
Target Schools:
Insead, LBS, Said, Judge, Imperial.
I know that I represent an overly crowded applicant pool of Indian IT engineers, but I will really like to know your thoughts on my profile. If you think I should include any other schools (In US and Europe) given my goal and profile, please let me know about that as well.
Thanks again!
