Hi,

Could you please review my profile?

GMAT: 740 (Q49/V41/AWA 5.5/IR 7, first attempt)
Reason for pursuing an MBA: Wanted to change career tracks from IT to finance/risk management
Target schools: Wharton (doubtful), Yale, Berkeley HAAS, MIT Sloan, Princeton, Booth, LSB
Background:
Working for 2.5 years with one promotion, rated consistently at the highest performance level in a well known IT company (rated among the top 50 smartest companies by MIT Tech review in 2015 and 2016)
Graduated with BE Computers from a deemed college with CGPA ~ 6.7

Given the above profile, does targeting these schools seem feasible? Which other schools should I target?

Would it be worthwhile to retake the GMAT? I was slightly worried about my quant score

I would say what I know about you looks good but since you are going for some really competitive options here (surely not news to you) I would need to know more just to make sure. Any chance you can fill in our free profile evaluation form on https://aringo.com/ with as many details as possible? That will enable me to give you a better assessment based on all the facts.

Would not say GMAT is an issue here, however.

Thanks for sharing your profile. You have a nice profile and think your GMAT score is fine I think Wharton will be tough but you an certainly take a swing at the other programs, with the exception of Princeton which does not have an MBA program. Focus on really writing some compelling essays and you should have a shot
