Re: Sauder (UBC): Class of 2016 Calling all applicants [#permalink]
Hi Guys

I have my interview in a few days. Can anybody who gave an interview this year (for Fall 2014) share their experience? What were the questions asked?

Hi guys,

Submitted my application yesterday in the final round, can anyone shed any light as to what is the average lead time before I can hear anything from UBC adcom? Also any information on the total turnaround time will be great time from the date of application submission to getting a final decision? Looking forward to your replies

I got admitted to both Schulich and Sauder MBA for fall 2014 but I am having a hard time choosing between these...
Sauder - Like the program and got a scholarship(so cost diff is good now)....not sure of Vancouver as the location and reputation when compared to Schulich

Schulich - Course looks good and more reputation than UBC, Toronto seems better but since no scholarship info....cost seems to be a concern!!

I am interested in Consulting and general management, my wife will be looking for a job in IT security which is her current industry.....

Those who have made the decision or been through it....please help with your thoughts!!

Re: Sauder (UBC): Class of 2016 Calling all applicants [#permalink]
Hey Guys,

I submitted my application towards the end of the last deadline (May 31st 2014). I was invited to an online interview yesterday (June 7th). This is a link to kiratalent and the interview is recorded there. I have 7 days to finish this.

I don't really know what to expect. I remember doing something similar for Rotmans. Is the experience (type of questions etc.) similar?
Rotmans had this before you submitted your application, so the questions were rather generic. Can I expect the questions to be more targeted to my application in this interview?
Also, what are the next steps after this?
As I said, I don't know what to expect, so any information would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi, I will be giving GMAT but i am a bit skeptical of my chances at Sauder since my undergraduate percentage is 65% which comes out to be 3.0/4.0 GPA. AM i eligible to even apply for this college??

There's no comparison, take Schulich. Vancouver is a terrible post-degree employment market. This is coming from someone who lives here, has received job applications from UBC grads, and knows several UBC MBA grads.

I really don't understand the point of getting an MBA from UBC to be honest. Go to Schulich, it's a better school, in a much better market for employment after your degree.

Hi all

I did not find Sauder Class of 2017 page, so i post here.
I got accepted to Sauder MBA, but no scholarship information yet, does it come in acceptance letter package or if we don't hear about scholarship in acceptance Email then it means we wont get any scholarship?

Cheers
