Seeing some real progress in my studies! I began studying in January, but only studied for about 3 weeks before having to postpone for other life obligations.
I took my first practice CAT today (
MGMAT) after restarting my studies at the beginning of April. Score progression below:
560 (GMATPrep) Q31, v36
590 (
MGMAT 1) Q34, V36
630 (
MGMAT 2) Q41, V35
I've really cranked down on quant preparation in the last few weeks and it's rewarding to see legitimate progress! Still a long way to go as I shoot for a score over 700, but this gives me confidence in my study plan.
A few things that I think have helped me these past few weeks
- Stay Consistent! Seriously - don't go a day without thinking about the GMAT in some form
- Trust the process - and enjoy it!
I still have a lot of work to hit my goal score of 700 or above, but I fully believe that I will. The more I get to know this test, the more I recognize how much of a mental challenge it is. There isn't time to get demoralized and doubt your potential. Attack your studies and every problem head on!
