Thank you so much for your reply. As I was thinking yesterday about why this is happening I also thought I should use the same strategy as you mentioned. The issue is my mistakes are not consistent except in one area: Critical Reasoning which has been below 50% in all my last 2 attempts. Reading for example was 100% in my 620 attempt, but 70% in my 640 attempt. Or SC was 50% in my 620 attempt and 79% in my 640 attempt. Also in quant subjects my mistakes are not consistant.

Is there a question bank that you can suggest, something that I can find questions categorized subject by subject? both for verbal and for quant.

As for the online courses, I have already taken crackverbal course. Is there any specific course that you can suggest and is different from crackverbal? Also something that can help me go through their material only on specific subjects and gives me plenty of practice problems fo that specific subject?

Thank you in advance

Hi

I can understand the disappointment you must be facing. It seems you have prepared for a decent period of time and have used the standard prep materials. So, I don't think it is a very good idea to start a completely new course. You can revise your error logs and review the mocks you have given. Also, work on time management skills.
Revisiting the error logs and working on that is the utmost crucial step in the GMAT Preparation.
Quant section of GMAT is very scoring and doable if one follows the right strategy and manages the time well. If you feel you need personal guidance, you can take some personal tutoring for specific topics and strategies.

Best wishes for your Preparation and GMAT Exam.

Hi guys

I just fineshed my 4th GMAT attempt and after 6 months of studying 40 hours a week, I got 640 for the second time.

First attempt: 560 in December (didnt even see the breakdown and just cancelled)
2nd attempt: 640 (Q48 V29) in January
3rd attempt: 620 (Q43 V33) in Fenruary
4th attempt: 640 (Q45 V33) today (March 3rd)

I am a Iranian-Canadian female, and right now I am a marketing manager of one the top start ups in Iran. I am interested in applying to Stanford, MIT, INSEAD and LBS.
The issues that I am facing are these:
1. For all the past 4 attempts, I have had trouble sleeping and ended up sleeping for 3-4 hours only. Im usually a cool and relax person but I dont know why this happens every single time
2. From the 2nd attempt, although 1.5 month apart from my last attempt, it seems I havent had any progress at all.
Before my first attempt, I studied MGMAT for SC, Powerscore bible for CR, and crackverbal for quant. I also did plenty of OG questions and a few official practice tests.
After my 2nd attempt up until now, I have only been focused on 3rd parties practice tests and GMATCLUB quant and verbal tests. My quant scores are between 44-48 and my verbal scores ranges from 32-41.
Also here is my scores on MGMAT:
MGMAT 1: 680 (Q44 V38) -before my 2nd attempt
MGMAT 2: 690: (Q44 V39)- before my second attempt
MGMAT 3,4,5: 680- before my 3rd attempt
MGMAT 6: 700 (Q45, V40) - 3 days before my last attempt
and here is my Veritas scores:
Test 1 and 2: 690 (Q49, V36)-before my 2nd attempt
Test 3,4: 680 (Q48, V36)- before my 3rd attempt
Test 5,6: 710 (Q50, V36)- before my last attempt

As you can see both of my MGMAT and VERITAS score had improved before my last attempt but honestly i dont know what happened during exam. I felt a little under time pressure in quant especially in the last 10 Qs but in verbal I thought I am doing well.
I havent been studying new material or taking new course in the past two months, just been focused on practice tests.

What do you think I should do improve my score to 700+? I am very frustrated as I have put so much time and effort and now only have one attempt left. I would really appreciate your advice.
