The jurors agreed that of all the reasons the defense attorney gave for finding his client not guilty, the last two of them were the most absurd.

(E) the last two were the most absurd.

Sentence is having pronoun error.
"last two of them/these" ----- of what? ------------ (Pronoun error)

(A) the last two of them were the most absurd. --------- (Pronoun error)
(B) the latter two were the most absurd. -------------- (Wordy)
(C) the last two of these were the most absurd. ------------ (Pronoun error)
(D) the last two of them were the absurdest. --------------- (Pronoun error)

(E) the last two were the most absurd. ----------- (Correct)
Has correct formation and Conveys the meaning correctly.

can 'Them' in option A refer to jurors as well???

Shouldn't there be a ; as "the jurors agreed" and "the last two were" are 2 subject verb pair ?
I agree E is the right answer though
