Wow, what a disappointment Wow... ok. Then from now on, maybe I just need to stop checking this thread, and patiently wait for a ding letter. Or maybe even forget about it. Hopefully I can. Got an invitation yesterday (11/30). I did not check email until this morning, so noted a little late. But based on my prior posts, responses and guess, it seems R1 applicants still have hope. The only thing that bothers me a little is that earliest possible interview date is scheduled into next year 1/5/16. Below is my timeline FYI: R1 applicant, submitted app. on 10/15 on 11/19, emailed MBA admission team asking why official GMAT score was still not verified, and whether that was the reason holding my app from review (followed the strategy from one folk on this site); no response until 11/24 on 11/24, followed up with MBA admission on my prior email later on 11/24, MBA admission emailed back saying GMAT score verified and updated, no other info about application review thing 11/30 afternoon, interview invitation received (not found until 12/1, because I lost hope previously, so not bothered checking email too frequent) Overall, for R1 applicants, hope is still there!

They just opened up more slots in Jan this morning so I assume there are still invites going out. I got invited early but couldn't interview in December due to personal reasons so had to schedule on in Jan. They REAAAALLLY want you go for on-campus interview, even I told them I was there literally two weeks ago for their campus visit, I even sat in a class and met with current students... -_- oh well, at least it's NY, I'm always down to visit...better than Minnesota or something...

I came across the statistics that Stern extends interviews to about 20-25% of the applicant pool and then extends acceptance offers to 75% of the people who interviewed. Do these numbers make sense when compared with the experiences of applicants from previous years on GMATCLUB?

I got an invite for interview this 11/30. I was wondering what the pros and cons are for going to their women spotlight event versus their regular interview event. I have already been to their campus visit, info session, class visit, and coffee chat with students. Would I get more bonus points for going to the two-day event? I'm not sure what to do here...

Invited to interview on the 30th of November. Came to NY (from Greece) to visit the school and received interview invite the next day. I was so excited and did the interview today! GMAT 640!!! I really really cant believe it yet!
