Ok so I didn't make the cut at Sauder. Got the bad news on 22nd Jan. Interview given on 15th Jan. I really didn't expect this outcome but hey, that's how competitive it is. Well thanks, everyone, for your help. Much appreciated. I hope to convert one of the other Schools on my list.

I believed you will make it to other MBA. I also had a terrible time being rejected for EliBoard MBA. My hope now is with UBC MBA but have not yet receive an email on my application. I live things to Faith and hope you will as well. Keep on with other school before you realise they will sneak on you.

Got the mail this morning.. admitted!

My interview was last week, questions asked were:
Walk me through your resume.
Why did you make the career choices that you did?
Why MBA now? Why Sauder?
For global immersion 2016, which country would you choose out of UK,Chile, Japan, or India and why?
Tell me a situation where you had to motivate people.
Tell me what kind of team member you are.
How will you contribute to the UBC class?
Any questions for me?

Basically, I was honest and I was myself. So for anyone who landed an interview, just let your personality come across genuinely and that's all that matters.

Tuition: 66 000 $ (+15%)
Global Imm: 6 000 $ (+10%)
Fees: 2 000 $
Living expenses: 1800 - 2500$ per month
Internship: - 9 000$

Total: around 110 - 120 000$ CAD

All the very best to both of you. Below is what I was asked. Please go through a few pages in this thread and you will have a database of questions (ShepardCommander and others have shared their interview experiences earlier).

1. Take me through your Resume.
2. Why MBA?
3. Why Sauder?
4. Recall a situation where you had to deal with a conflict and tell us how you handled it.
5. Recall a situation where you acted as a leader and solved a problem, what did you learn from it.
6. Some general question on the lines of 'How would you find out the number of black cars on road in India?'

If the interviewer is not making you feel at ease, please remember that it does not matter and be assured that they are alert and are noting down points from your responses. Keep calm, keep your smile and be confident. Again, all the best guys.

I received an admit this morning. I was interviewed on 9th February.

For admitted students who received a scholarship, did you receive a separate email informing you of a scholarship? Or was it mentioned in the offer letter itself?

Hi!

Mine was as a separate email + separate letter in the official package.

Unfortunately, it seems that this year Sauder has some financial problems that's why only few students receive scholarship, which hardly covers recent tuition increase.
