Is it just me or does it seem like not a lot of invites have gone out already? Livewire has about 20-ish interview invite updates and about 10 here. Last year, quite a few people had invites by now (at least they shared it on last year's thread). Thoughts anyone?

From last year's thread, it seemed like invites went out until late October and even some in November. Hopefully they are still going to be sending some out. It is the only one out of the 3 I applied to that hasn't sent me an invite :(

Those who have gotten invites, do they have a 'tick' next to their GMAT Score Report on their portal page? Because mine still has a 'cross', and my thoughts are that they are yet to review my app?

I mentioned this in a post in the previous pages, but, I emailed them about that and they had to look into it from their side to confirm my score report. I suggest you email the admissions office asking about the status and make sure your name, birthdate and email match between your GMAT and the UCLA App.

Last year, they admitted about 700 candidates of which 372 enrolled. That would mean that Anderson sent out at LEAST 700 interview invites last year. Just wondering where all the invites are for this year. lol.

I inquired about this as well when I was worried that my scores had not been received, and was told it can be delayed by a few weeks. I believe that at most programs, the assumption is that your self-reported scores are accurate and they will only need verify using the official scores during the background check after you've decided to enroll.

I am already starting to lose hope. I guess my TOEFL score may have sunk me :( I had not taken TOEFL seriously and am paying the price now.
Anderson was my dream school.

I just had my interview and I think it went pretty well. It was conversational but not as casual as some of the other reports I've seen. We started with the basic tell me about yourself and resume walk through and then she asked me some specific questions about my career goals. Be sure you have solid argument for why you need an MBA because I had to defend mine a bit. Also what you would do as a backup if your current career plan becomes unattainable.

Overall it was a pretty short interview, mine lasted 25 because we stared a bit late. I had around 5-7 minutes at the end for questions. She also gave me a lot of information about Anderson throughout the interview. There were less behavioral questions than I anticipated and we covered less material than I was expecting so really make sure you touch on your most important points as quickly as possible.

Let me know if anyone has any specific questions about the format or anything else!

Oh and GPA: 3.8 GMAT: 750 Location: California. I got the invite last Tuesday

GPA - 3.52
TOEFL - 113 (W - 26, S - 27).
Desired future job function - Entrepreneurship.

Hey! Finally received an interview invite :D I have a green check against my GMAT and TOEFL reports but I see the adcom wants my certified original transcripts and degree certificate. Now, I have a few copies of original transcripts (with the signature in live ink and college 3D hologram sticker), is that considered certified or does it need to be explicitly written "certified original" ? Also, my university issues only 1 original degree certificate which I would hate to part with..
