So, is this the common practice - interviewers mailing to students? Or official mails for Indian candidates is yet to be circulated? Anyone else from India receive such news?

Got through . YAY. Checked in my application portal but it doesn't say anything about scholarships. Does that mean I have not received any or they tell that information through email?

The application portal was updated around 7:45am (Eastern) and I got an email saying I was accepted and that I received a scholarship about an hour later.

Waitlisted for 1 year, though I suspect it's because the start date (Summer '18) is so far away that they are not currently considering applicants.
