Not sure if you are a Celtics fan... or not but Kyrie Irving (The Celtics point guard) has started at HBS this fall. I am guessing not going to change anyone's plans. https://www.boston.com/sports/boston-ce ... ess-school
P.S. This is not the full program but rather a semester-long program taught by Anita Elberse... specifically targetting athletes.

Wish I was there when Sharapova was in HBS
P.S. why don't we have a heart or love emoji? bb how can we be so heartless?
Just curious what y'all think about my odds for applying for the 2+2 program. Currently I am graduating from arguably the top Petroleum Engineering program in December with a 3.9 GPA (Texas public university). I have had internships at a small boutique investment bank as well as one of the major oil and gas companies and have a full time job offer doing Reservoir Engineering. I have community service on my resume and ran a charity even during my time at university.
I have taken the GMAT before and got a 680 which was much lower than my GMAT practice test scores which were typically around 700-720. I am going to retake it hope to score around a 730-750 after studying for a few months.

My clients last year in Round 1 had interviews on Nov 6 and 11. Not sure how long past that they go.

How long from Oct 1st and 4th do applicants get to schedule their interviews? Does adcom do interviews until late November?

Do you know if we can interview on saturday or sunday? Does it make a difference compared to a weekday? I heard there would just be one officer on the weekend versus two.
I do seem to remember that there were some weekend options. In past years, various adcom members or trusted people they outsource interviews to (who've worked with them in certain cities for YEARS) are the ones conducting the interviews in several cities outside of Boston. I've had clients who were accepted interview on campus, at one of the city interviewing hubs across the world, and over Skype, so I honestly do not think it makes a difference. If you are lucky enough to get an invite, you should do what is going to make you feel the most confident (and that you can swing logistically and financially, of course).
Hope that helps -- best of luck!

All over the place! My successful clients interviewed on campus, in a ton of different interview-hub cities across the country and world, and even over Skype a few times (military applicants). So it's totally fine to do what works best for you out of the options you'll be given.

At which locations did they have their interviews?
