Hey guys, I started drafting the essays for the application and was wondering if there are any who are targeting the early decision round which is due Sep 4th. Also I couldn't find essay prompt analysis anywhere yet, so wondering if anyone has made any progress. There are the below two questions in the prompt. Wondering what the school is expecting from the first question. Essay Question I: How do you expect to be changed by your experience at IESE and what impact you would like to make after your MBA? (word limit 300 max) Essay Question II: What are your short and medium term post MBA career goals and how will IESE help you achieve them? (word limit 300 max) Thank you.

know your application, after all you wrote it (right?) reread your essay, refamiliarize yourself with the story/message you're telling. think of some interesting questions to ask when it's your turn to ask questions. and most of all be yourself. IESE is looking for people, not robots who say what they want to hear. Edit: ignore the edit, edited the wrong post

if you're willing to travel, you could always ask them about it. I don't know if you mentioned where your from (a little voice in the back of my head keeps saying brazil), but i guess they offered the webex due to the fact that you're so far out? Edit: ofcourse i was wrong ^^, it's india :p

Hey Aeon86, yes it is India. I'm not sure what it is. I spoke to our region adcom director for an informational interview before submission and it is the same director who will be interviewing.

Hey Congratz!!!! can you tell us a bit about yourself? where you're from, background, why iese, etc i hope you realise you just made a lot of people who applied to ED round VERY VERY nervous decision was supposed to be by oktober 19th, if they have already started that's a whole week!

hahah don't worry ... everything takes time ... so... I'm Brazilian... civil engineer with 7 years background in sales and mkt... and I choose IESE as my dream school 2 years ago.... when I went to Barcelona to visit a friend, who was doing his Mba at IESE,... and in that day I had the opportunity to attempt to a class at IESE ... which was AMAZING!!!! After that... events (all of that in Brazil) ... study.. gmat .. toefl, applications... And I believe that they called yesterday because today (October - 12) is a Catholic holiday in Brazil... Btw... I was also accepted at ESADE ... also yesterday! good luck for u guys!! and feel free to ask me anything you want to know!!!
