I think the answer should be B, s it uses correct parallelism by using dominates, grows, and runs. Please correct me if i am wrong.

Found on several Indonesian islands, Komodo dragons dominate their habitat and grow to a length of up to 10 feet, running swiftly enough that it can make deer and wild boar its primary live prey.

A) Komodo dragons dominate their habitat and grow to a length of up to 10 feet, running swiftly enough

B) the Komodo dragon dominates its habitat, grows to a length of up to 10 feet, and it runs swiftly enough

C) Komodo dragons dominate their habitat and grow to a length of up to 10 feet, and with such swift running

D) the Komodo dragon dominates its habitat, growing to a length of up to 10 feet and running so swiftly

E) Komodo dragons dominate their habitat and grow to a length of up to 10 feet, they run swiftly enough

A, C, and E can be eliminated from the pronoun "its"

B has the pronoun issue and changed intended meaning, and D uses "so that" correctly.

D must be the answer

I feel the need to clear something up as there are multiple posts giving the same error.

The subject/pronoun agreement in option (A.) is correct. The noun is the plural, 'dragons', not the singular, 'dragon'. Therefore, the pronoun 'their' is correct. I feel that answer choice (A.) is incorrect for an entirely different reason - the ending, "...running swiftly enough...."

A,C,E can be eliminated
D seems to wrongly modify habitat
B seems parallel and correct

What about "it" in the part that is not underlined?

E) Komodo dragons dominate their habitat and grow to a length of up to 10 feet, they run swiftly enough

Pronoun is singular, so subject must be singular....A, C & E out
B is having parallelism error.

Remaining is D, our best choice

You can easily eliminate options A, C, and E because of pronoun mistakes. it v/s their

And you are left with B and D

B is wrong because it has a parallelism issue
