Hello all, I have a problem.

Can anybody tell me how to get 650 in 2 weeks? Is it even possible? I am average in quant and below average in verbal.

Thank you in advance.. please help.

It's difficult to tell about your progress without knowing your current level. So, better if you share your current score with split.
Thanks__

I haven’t took mock recently, I did in June but I don’t remember score ( it was not impressive I can tell you that ).
I have complited manhattan quant books, and I read all magoosh blogs about CR, My main problem areas are SC and RC.
Should I start with reading materials? Or I should start practicing problems?

Thank you in advance..

If you are clear with the basics, then move on to practice the questions. Otherwise, it's just a waste of time.

Hi Mansi89

If it's really been over 7 months since you've taken a practice CAT/mock, then you really should take one soon (perhaps this weekend); make sure to take it in a realistic fashion (take the FULL CAT - with the Essay and IR sections, take it away from your home, at the same time of day as when you'll take the Official GMAT, etc.). Once you have that score, you should report back here and we can discuss how best to proceed.

Beyond that data, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied? Have you taken any "time off" during your studies?
2) What study materials have you used so far?

Goals:
3) What is your goal score? Is it 650 or something else?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
5) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Hi Mansi89,

is your exam in two weeks? Can you postpone it? As noted above, it would be a great to start from scratch and build on that.

Hi Mansi89,

I agree with much of what has been said. To get a better idea of whether you can increase your GMAT score to 650 in just two weeks, you should take a practice test ASAP to get an updated baseline score. Once you complete the exam, feel free to reach back out here, and I can provide some further advice.
