Hi, I'm an Indian applicant - just received my interview invite today.
There doesn't seem to be an off-campus interview option in India. But I do see a preset video interview option. Has anyone from R1/R2 here given video interviews for the full time MBA? Would love to know your experience
Posted from my mobile device
When I reached out the R1 Indian applicants who got an interview invite, except for one person, everyone else did it via the preset video questions. How did you hear about the interview invite? Was it portal or mail?

Got it, thanks! I heard from them over email just this morning. The portal has been updated as well.
Update to previous post. Just got an interview! Online questions must be submitted by the 17th just so everyone knows. Maybe I’m in the last round of folks?
1. When have you promoted diversity in the workplace? 2. When have you made a mistake? 3. When have you had to support team members? 4. Why Haas? 5. What more would you like us to know?

Has anyone interviewed for Haas through the video interview? Can you please provide a brief description of the format and content?
Was there something during the interview that made you feel so or are you generally concerned? In my opinion, Haas will try to admit even more international students now that we offer STEM OPT. Covid-19 is temporary (hopefully) and situation should get back to normal by August, so no business school would want to make some drastic changes in their admission plans because of the virus since it may affect their yield and ranking as a result.

Do you think Haas will admit more US based International Student due to the crovid19? I’m in Europe now and very much concerned after the interview.
Thanks for the reply! My interview went on well, and it’s the visa and US entry ban that I’m currently concerned about. I hope the school will expect that things could go back normal by August. However, since the virus is insanely spreading over Europe and US, I’m not sure if this hope is realistic.

Yeah, what you said is a general concern among all business schools (and academia in general). If the issue with the virus is not resolved by august than everyone (including current students) are screwed.
Are you in Europe permanently or are you there on a temporary assignment?

I'm on an assignment and have lived in Europe for 3 years. However, I haven't received ans calls or emails from Haas...
