I have the interview on 20 February.

Only a few questions:
1. Tell me about yourself
2. Special achievement
3. When you encountered someone with a different perspective
4. What would you do after accepting the offer if offered
5. LT and ST
6. Anything you’d like to add
7. Questions for the interviewer

Lasted 45 mins

*I gave the interview on 20 February

No questions about Why MBA, Why Yale, or the quote. I feel the conversational style of the interview went on and that’s why we lost track of the time

Thanks a lot for sharing this! I have my interview tonight, this will certainly give me an idea in terms of what to expect. Also, was there discussion about the quote we were asked to submit?

I know Yale said they'll be rolling interviews till March, but realistically, at this point it's a long shot right?

If I had to venture a guess, I’d say be optimistic until first week of March (7th March-ish)...coz that still gives SOM approx. 2 weeks to review all the profiles again with interview summaries and create a final shortlist for the decision date of 24th March...Again, I do not have any data to back this statement, but I think 2-week is a fair estimate for final consolidation

Hi everyone. Is it vital that we update every change to SOM. I received an offer from a different college that starts in April and I am no longer employed because I wanted to spend some time with my family. I have more than 4 years of experience and I wanted to wait before informing Yale. In all possibility, I may not even receive an admit and I’ll think maybe the reason for rejection was the update. On the off-chance that I do, I’m planning to inform them via email. What’s the groups

*group’s view?

Wait till March 24. That’s when they’d have sent out all invites. Don’t ruin your chances for nothing.

You shouldn’t. ISB can wait.

Agree with other folks, there is no need to share all updates. It’s similar to what schools say "submit everything by deadline, otherwise we will not check." lol You submitted the application by the deadline, and you are not obligated to share more, especially if it may backfire.

Wait until the results are released. If asked about this during the interview or background check, you can always mention that you took a break to help/spend time with family before starting your MBA. I heard that taking time off is fairly common among MBA candidates before school. Good luck!

Hey people.
Does anyone know that whether Yale is still looking at sending invites for R2, or everyone who hasn’t been invited yet is just destined for a reject?
