What are the possible outcomes in decision day? Do schools waitlist without interview?

hello guys any one got any interview invites recently? i applied in r2 and waiting waiting..

You would have recieved a mail for scheduling the interview, can you check what is the last date to schedule the interview??

Is SOM a lost case who has not received invite yet? How are you guys managing your expectations?

There is an admission Q&A today, and another one on Thursday...I don’t think there’s any harm in checking with adcom through these forums if you are curious... Or else, check with R1 candidates if you know any- how close to decision date did the school send last batch of interview invites... Reason I say this is because every R2 applicant on the forum is just going to take a guess, and their inputs are just as good as yours or mine for your first question

Yale Admissions Q&A My question: When is the last on which an applicant can expect to receive an interview invite? Their not so useful response: There is no official date. Generally, we send out our last interview invitations a few days before the decision date (March 24 I think).

So, basically, we should expect an interview invitation along with the final decision of rejection? This is getting more annoying day by day. lol Thank you for asking the question, I was unable to join the Q&A, as I got an urgent client call to attend.

I joined another SOM session today, and got the same answer regarding R2 interview invites. "Things are delayed a little and we will be sending interview invites one week before the decision date."
