Is there anyone who applied toB schools in the US and waiting for their results before submitting the admission fees for ISB?

Also bumping the "what’s the refund policy of ISB admission fees due by 3 Dec" question

Beware they have sectional cuoffs as 75%ile, which work out to Q50 minimum, so although your Gmat may be 750+, no sectional=no call=waste of time.
Is there any cutoff on Verbal section too?

I can tell GMAT score is a downside in your profile. Try to get a good GMAT score(700+). Nevertheless, you can still give it a shot by giving very good essays.

Hey Guys! Have the R1 results come out already? If yes, any idea how many seats are already filled? Even past data if someone knows as to how many people get in round 1,2 and 3 usually would be helpful to know. Deciding between applying R2 and R3

Around 300, guessing from the number of people that are there in the official R1 admits group

Hey Everyone!

Requesting a profile evaluation for myself:

10th - 94.67% 12th - 94%
Undergrad - BITS Pilani - 8.33/10.00 CGPA
GRE - 323

WorkEx:
4.5 years at ZS Associates: Omnichannel Marketing Consulting focused on Healthcare Practitioners
1) Worked with an Emerging Pharma client to help design and setup Omnichannel Analytics and BI dashboards to monitor and provide actionable insights regarding customer engagement
2) Worked on an industry-wide project to benchmark performance of Omnichannel Marketing across various companies, providing insights on what strategies are working well vs which ones can be further optimized to attain a better price to performance ratio
3) Worked to transition an existing operations project into a web-driven service that clients can subscribe to - primary focus was to help define the end product features, as well as ensure the technical as well as functional aspects are aligned

Also have experience as a contractual Research Consultant for WorldQuant during undergrad - learnt about algorithmic trading and helped devise basic mathematical equations to predict price movements for financial instruments

Extra Curriculars:
Worked with BITS Pilani's Department of Visual Effects during my undergraduate - this is a student body that covers videography for College fests and other important occasions (don't have an LOR for this unfortunately)
I also have a small-scale family business that my father runs - I have inside-out knowledge about it, however I'm not involved in its day-to-day working, hence not sure if I should mention this?

My immediate post-MBA goals are to look for a functional change in my role towards more strategy-focused applications where I can help clients take critical tactical decisions. As a long term goal (15+ years), I plan to leverage my business knowledge and network in order to open my own F&B business, however I have not thought about any details for it (like B2B/B2C, etc.)

Please let me know your thoughts and what I should focus on/improve for my application?

Hello @Pca363,
Below is my evaluation of your profile.
GRE: Lower than Average; this will pull your overall chances down.
Academics: Good ; Consistent high grades and graduation from a reputed college helps your case.
Work Experience: Average ; while it seems that you have been able to add value to the end clients via your work, you will fall within a highly competitive pool of ISB Applicants from current and ex-ZSers. I personally faced this back in 2013 when I was applying. Most often that not, ZSers across every track – Ops/Tech/Analytics are more or less generalized under the same bracket of Healthcare Sales and Marketing Analytics. The strategy I followed and have recommended several others over the last 6+ years is to not over emphasize on the ZS stint – ex. Promotion from Associate to AC OR international projects etc. BUT rather to talk about unique aspects of your projects or your learnings from these projects. The project where you worked on a transition from services to product offering can be a good pointer to elaborate on.
Extra-Curriculars: Below Average; don’t see a lot of sparks here. There is so much of content getting generated in today’s world, that Videography has become an extremely critical skillset to possess. In case you are still associated with this trait, you can talk about how you have pursued your interest in recent times as well.
Goals: If I understand clearly you want to say that you want to transition to client facing management consulting roles post MBA. If that’s the case, don’t mention Mckninsey BCG AT Kearney Parthenon as the companies you want to work for. Reason being they have a certain GMAT/GRE score threshold while shortlisting applicants directly from campus. Try to tie your long term goals with your father’s business or something so that it doesn’t seem that it is coming out of the blue.
Hope the above helps.
I am an ISB alum, CO15, and have been guiding applicants for more than 6 years now successfully crack ISB and other global MBA programs. Feel free to reach out to me at [email protected] in case you seek professional support.
Cheers and all the very best!

Is this group created by ISB privately or one that was created on the forum? Just want to understand how much to trust the 300 figure

Hey everyone,

I recently gave the GMAT Focus to apply for ISB round 2. The ISB application asks to submit the 'GMAT Score Report (first page of the official / unofficial report)' but in my mba.com dashboard, I only see the option to send scores to different schools but not to download the report. Does anyone have any idea on how to proceed?

Thanks!!

5) Formulated & executed go-to-market strategies for 3 brands
6) Devised & implemented sales and promotional strategies for all 3 brands across multiple E-Commerce Channels & Retail Stores.
7) Led a cross functional team to create a robust warehouse management system in Bangalore and other cities, partnering with 3rd-party warehousing companies. Achieved cost-efficient operations and improved product availability across warehouses.
8) Setup the CRM system of the company from the grounds up in collaboration with the brand team

Achievements :
Promoted on fast-track to become the youngest Associate Director in the company at the age of 24, in a team of 100+ people.

Tenure (in years): 1.25
Notable projects & achievements: 1) Promoted to Engineer - 1 within first year
