Fantastic list of resources! I also wanted to add that since the original post was created, Economist GMAT Tutor launched its blog, and we feature reading comprehension tips quite often. Just this week we posted an article about how to avoid extremes in reading comprehension answer choices.

Here’s the take-home idea: if you need to quickly eliminate answer choices in a tone question, find the ones that contain words that seem extreme to you. Consider what words an academic author would or would not use in his or her writing. You can probably eliminate any extreme answer choice.

If you want to check out the whole article, you can do so here:

I am also happy to answer any questions!

Regards,

Elizabeth

Dear All,

I have just finished to read notes on RC from Manhattan. Besides, I have started to read notes from Veritas RC. However, there is a huge contrast between these sources. Such as, Manhattan claims that when one reads a passage she/he must make a diagram to be able to answer the questions. As for Veritas RC book, it notes that diagramming is meaningless...

To what extent do you agree/disagree with these approaches?
