Any ISB grads that could help with this:
1. What sort of international offers do companies/firms make at ISB? As in, what roles/companies/firms and what locations?
2. How often do ISB grads at consulting firms transition abroad having started in India roles?

Hi There,
I recently met an ISB admission committee member in an MBA meet in London and I asked them same ques.
According to him, some countries from developing countries do pick directly from ISB and in good numbers but there is hardly any to none companies directly placing you in developed countries.
He also told me that companies like Apple sometimes hire with prior understanding that the position will be moved abroad after certain amount of time.
As per him, 17% of ISB's 10k + alumni are currently working abroad.

1. You might find the following snippet useful (taken directly from ISB's placement report):
We continued with our momentum of placing our students at International locations. Firms from Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Nigeria, Dubai and other parts of the world have come and hired talent from ISB in the past. Our graduates have gone on to lead some of the leading corporations around the globe in sectors as
diverse as Finance, FMCG, Technology, among others. 22 International companies participated in placements for the Class of 2018 and made 42 offers. Arthur D Little; Dubai,
Cargill, Chemaf, Damac, Siemens, Kalpataru International were among the international companies that made their presence felt on the ISB campus.
2. Some of them do, but you would of course understand that this is firm-driven and market-dictated, not school-driven. A lot would depend on one's functional expertise, practice, and opportunities for international mobility within that practice. That said, if you are getting hired for a certain geography and office, it would be reasonable to assume that most of your work at least in the initial 2-3 years will be focused on work in that geography.
