People says *GMAT doesn't test vocabulary". But, you should know the meaning of those words that are used everyday in communication. Study from official guide and if you find any word which meaning is unknown to you just use "cambridge dictionary" to know meaning of that word. Don't use any other dictionary!

Barrons is not needed for gmat.
Just make sure all the words you come across SC/CR/RC from official material (OG/VA) you know the meaning.
