Thanks Donna. Your advice helps. Where does INSEAD stand vis a vis American schools? Would you place it equivalent to top 10 American schools, or further down in the ranking? And how about LBS?
I think that INSEAD and LBS are certainly top programs and it really comes down to where YOU want to get your training. If you see yourself having a global career and don't see yourself working first in USA post MBA- then these other programs may be a better fit. I see them all as viable but if you hope to work in US right after an MBA then a US program makes more sense.

How do you see my chances of making it to a good B School in America? Hi @Dhillonravi1983- thanks for reaching out to StratusPrep for a review- I will answer your questions below in blue

- 9 years of work experience in Sales and Account Management in the Technology sector, based in US for about 5 years. Worked with F500 clients across USA, Canada, UK and India quite honestly- you are at the upper range and a tad of the "sweet spot" of work experience- but not an impossible task- just something to be aware of. Your experience with F500 clients in US, Canada, UK and India helps!
- Age : 33
- Undergrad BS from a Tier 2 University in India with CGPA 3.2
- MBA (marketing) from a top 10 B School in India. However, CGPA here is 2.85 So yet another challenge- not impossible- but will have to address how this MBA in US is needed.and also why grades not the best...
- Volunteer with American Red Cross - community disaster education, blood servies, FEMA certified, CPR/AED certified
- President of Student Placement Committee in Grad school
- Top performer all along my working career, with 4 promotions in 6 years with a single employer. great!
- However, now feeling a glass ceiling with my industry and function and hence the second MBA desire. Also, an MBA at this stage would be a vastly different learning than the one I did with little experience.

Thanks for your time.
One other avenue to consider is that your work experience would make you also an exceptional exec MBA candidate and you may find entrance requirements a little easier. You don't mention a GMAT- and that is key info to know in FT MBA admissions- but often less of an issue in exec MBA programs. You may even be able to get some employer sponsorship from your strong work track record. But if you seek FT MBA, I would say that I need to see the GMAT and also I'd need to understand as an ADCOM why you feel like the MBA here makes sense and what happened academically in your program. Hope that helps to give you an idea of what you should target. I'd also encourage you if looking for FT MBA to look at some of the excellent programs in the 15-30 ranking range as you will likely have more options there and can get some great training and networking for future job prospects there. Best wishes!
