What is the remainder when positive integer nn is divided by 12?
1) When n is divided by 6 then remainder is zero
2) n is not a multiple of 12

Ans--
Statement 1 - n can be 6,12,18 etc , which give different remainders when divided by 12; hence insufficient
Statement 2 - n can be any number; hence insufficient

Combining the two - n can be 6,18,30 which give the same remainder 6 when divided by 12
Hence both statements are together sufficient. (C)
