As we are aware that now colleges are accepting GRE too for MBA. so my doubt is that what should i take? if i took GRE then will i be in loss because what if college gives GMAT more preference.

Well yes schools are considering both scores now , its your personal choice which test you want to take.
GRE is more verbal centric than GMAT.

Hello, VineelaKranthi. Your question is not an uncommon one. In fact, I responded to at least two such queries last month. (You can see one of those responses at this link; there is a reply by another Expert as well.) I will say that the GMAT™ still holds more currency when it comes to business school applications, so make sure every school to which you intend to apply allows either the GMAT™ or the GRE® for admissions. There are also some important distinctions between the two tests that you should be aware of before you invest the time and money to prepare for one or the other. You could run a Google search on the topic and within minutes find all the information you could want to make a more informed decision.
