Background:I'm 21 years old and I've completed my BBA Finance and Accountancy from Christ University (Bangalore) in 2020. I'm currently pursuing professional papers in ACCA. I'm planning to apply for the following courses:
1)Msc Financial Economics - Oxford SBS (Requirement: Q 85th percentile, V 80th percentile, AWA 5)
Round 1- Oct 30th, Round 2- Jan 8th, Round 3- March 12th
2)Msc Finance - London School of Economics (Req. not mentioned)
No deadlines; admissions on rolling basis
3)Masters in Financial Analysis - London Business School (Req. not mentioned, 600+ recommended)
Round 2- Nov 4th, Round 3- Jan 25th, Round 4- 31st March, Round 5- 28th May
Current score: 610 (Q45 V28 IR7 AWA5), taken on 7th October 2020
This score is not reflective of my true potential, as I was not prepared enough for the test. I decided to take the test for mere experience sake.
P.S Since this is my first post I'm unable to attach my ESR. If you are willing to help me analyse my ESR, kindly let me know, I'll send it to you in private. Thanks a bunch in advance
Materials used: Princeton Review 2020, OG 2020My test experience:Quant: I forgot about the time while doing my 20th q and spent almost 7 minutes. Rookie mistake, I know. I ended up having to rush through the rest of the section, which I believe caused the drop in my Q score. (ESR mentions I got all qs in the last quarter wrong)
Verbal: I'm confident I messed up the first few questions, as throughout the sections I felt like the questions were too easy.
Target score: 760 (Q51 V41+)Considering I want to submit my applications for all universities by December mid, kindly recommend when I should retake the test, and what materials I should use (I'm currently confused between
e-gmat and Manhattan). I can afford to spend 3-4 hours a day for GMAT.
I'm desparate for some guidance, I'd appreciate help in any form. Feel free to ask me any questions. Thank you
