I just wanted to ask one more question Ankit. Since you are already an alumni of XLRI and i still have a few months left with my preparation how should i prepare myself for the interview. I have close to 7 years of experience in IT . what kind of questions should i expect in GD/PI rounds etc.

Thanks in advance.

Typical MBA interview questions
1. Why MBA
2. Why XLRI
3. Why have you decided for MBA so late
4. What are the difficult situations you have faced in your career and how you resolved them
5. What are your weaknesses
6. Highlight your biggest achievement
7. What if you get into ISB, which college will you choose and why
8. What if you do not get placed after MBA
9. Go through the current issues and some solution to them
10. Go through each and every word in your resume and have a detailed response to everything in your resume
11. Try to figure out about the interview panel and know a bit about them
12. Talk to some Alumn in the previous batch and get a feel of the placements
13. What kind of roles are you looking for after MBA and how will you get there
14. Where do you see yourself in next 5 years
15. Have an understanding of the strategy of your company and where is it heading and stuff

Hope it helps!

Thanks Ankit once again . Do you think my profile stands a reasonable chance of getting selected for the interview considering that i have a very average academic record ?
