My friend and I submitted at the same day for both app and video. She just submitted the video couple hours later.
She got an interview and I did not yet. Another data point for you to analyze.

I'm sorry, but I actually find this schedule to be borderline inhumane. I get that we need Yale more than Yale needs u, but would it kill them to make this process more applicant centered? At the very least, tell us the days invites will be sent out and whether or not we've been released? Harvard is much more transparent and it's a mark of respect for the applicant. Maybe I'm just freaking out!

Round 3 waitlisted applicant here. Will, in all likelihood, be a C/O 2020 applicant as well (though I am hoping not to be!). Hi, all!

We are in the same boat. Actually, I am in a slightly worse off boat than you are. I am a R1 reject. I have improved my GMAT and strengthened my profile quite a bit since then. Hopefully this is my year.

Hoping to hear some reapplicant feedback from Yale soon!

Did you ask them for feedback, and did they give you any? Was it constructive? I asked them for feedback, but going the "we just have limited space" answer.

What was your earlier gmat score Souvik?

@Reapplicants who were waitlisted - Wanted to check whether you are writing completely new essays from scratch or reusing last essays, of course with edits to improve.

Thanks in advance.

If you didnt achieve the ideal outcome last time, why recycle the same stuff? Unless you received very pointed feedback that the essays were good but the (fill in the blank) was not. That doesn't seem logical to me; like an opportunity squandered.

I asked the admission directors themselves, and they said yes, we know we asked for the biggest commitment so as a re-applicant it might not make sense to write about something else if the previous one was supposed to be the "biggest" one. So how do you suppose we approach this? Would love to hear your advice since I was told you can add more detail from the last commitment or whatnot.

My co-worker sitting right next to me got the invite. Indian living in USA, energy sector, GMAT 760. Posting it for another data point. He isn't on Gmatclub.

Oh man, yes. Story of my life last year. This year though, I tried to do everything I can. Started really early, retook the gmat, did well, took classes, and articulated my career vision and motivations better.

If it doesn't work out this year, i'm going to pursue something else entirely. After 2 years it becomes really bad ROI of mental and financial bandwidth.

Gmatclub should create a "take a break" feature where applicants can block themselves from accessing the site/stop sending notifications for a set period of time.

Like "take a break until x date"
