Today, the Admissions Director's Blog announced the one and only essay question of the 2014 Harvard Business School application:

“You’re applying to Harvard Business School.  We can see your resume, school transcripts, extra-curricular activities, awards, post-MBA career goals, test scores and what your recommenders have to say about you.  What else would you like us to know as we consider your candidacy?

That’s it.  No word limit.  Use your own judgment as to how much to tell us.  We have neither a “right answer” nor a “correct length” in mind.  We will review all the elements of the written application to decide who moves forward to the interview stage of our process.

This question presents a unique challenge and opportunity. We will be posting some great tips in the coming days - so check back soon.

An Accepted.com MBA admissions consultant will be happy to help you present yourself at your best in your HBS application. Check out our MBA Application Packages or contact us for one-on-one guidance through the application process.

Round 1: September 16, 2013
