Hi Aniriddha,

First off, a 680/Q46 is a strong Score, so it could be enough to get you into the Schools that you're interested in. As such, a retest might not be necessary. You're ultimately asking Admissions questions though, so you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile. There's a Forum full of those Experts here:

Hi Rich,
Thanks for the suggestion. I will check it out.

aniriddha - congratulations on scoring a 680. It is a really good score and should be sufficient for many German schools (and even for IMD).

Quote:
The aim of the MBA is to secure a job in the destination country. Kindly suggest courses where the career services are top-notch.
Courses where we can secure maximum funding will be preferred.

Typically scholarships are awarded students who have higher GMAT scores. Hence, I would recommend that you work on improving that GMAT score. Note, you may apply to a school with your current GMAT score and then send an updated GMAT score to the same school. I have seen many schools accept updated GMAT scores. Please see the example(s) below.

Hi Payal,
Thanks a lot for your advice. Let me apply to the IMD and then send an updated score.
Are you aware of any full time executive MBA programs in Canada /Ireland/ Germany

Case Study: From being Waitlisted at 710 to getting Scholarships at 750

Ayush applied to ROSS with 710. He had a good application, and a really good interview. Yet he was waitlisted. When he reached out to the Adcom, they told him that a 710 was too low for an Indian applicant. Ayush then worked on his GMAT and send his updated GMAT score. He not only received an admit but was also awarded a scholarship. Note – Ayush did not have to re-apply. He just had to send an updated GMAT score.

European B School case study – Martina received a scholarship from St. Gallen

I hope these data points help you move forward. Your GMAT score may be enough to secure an admit but you should aim higher if you want to secure a scholarship or a fellowship.
