Hello, IN2MBB2PE. Thank you for sharing. I, too, have long been interested in endurance sports, and I often compare the experience of taking the GMAT™ to that of running a marathon. With that said, points 3 and 4 seem contentious to me. What are foods with high carb? Broccoli? Oats? Beans? I ask because process food [sic] does often include high-carbohydrate fare, such as french fries, but it is not clear what you mean to say in point 3. There is a myriad of conflicting research on diet and health, one that also extends into supplements. (I have read more than one publication cautioning against both omega-3 and vitamin E supplementation, for instance. I was interested in becoming a dietitian a few years ago.)

I am glad you found a program that seems to be working for you, in any case, and I wish you the best in your studies. If you earn that 760+ score, please be sure to post a debrief.

- Andrew

Hi Andrew: thanks for sharing your journey! I agree that there’s some conflicting research that’s out there, however, I have gained some benefit within overall health by eliminating Suger, reducing intakes of heavy carb, oil and processed food, it seem to give me more energy and keep overall health mood up, again, best of luck with your journey!

I'm sure none of the stuff you recommended could hurt your chances, but it's not something I would waste my time worrying about. (I had a pretty greasy lunch before I took the GMAT.) I would say that forgoing any social life to study the material ad nauseum is your best bet. Also, make sure you have a consistent sleep schedule going into the exam.

For sure, Everyone should plan disciplined sleep schedule going into the exam (preferably months and weeks ahead), making sure you sleep 7-9 hours or as much as your body requires so that you’re at your best form, it’s the most important element than any of the above I’ve mentioned above, lack of sleep will make you panic and will run your heart faster than usual ....
