Hi everyone. I am new here, and I am writing to ask for advice on how to organize my study plan. I am a second-year Economics student, and I am currently attending classes and studying for a lot of exams. I have to start studying for the GMAT, which I plan to give next year, but I'm not really sure how much time I should spend preparing for it... I need a high score (720+), and the quantitative section is the one giving me trouble. I would be glad for any tip or advice on how I can smartly organize a study plan, from anyone who has been in a similar situation. I may start working part-time next month, so my time would become even less in that case :(
the study plan could be something like:
every Sat, Mon and Wednesday --->quant
every Sun, Tues, and Thursday-->verbal.
try to learn concept from unofficial resources, and apply that learning to the official questions only. Don't touch any unofficial materials (specially for verbal, for quant you can use unofficial materials along with official resources) for practice.

Do you need more help like which materials should you follow for concept learning?

Hi ari00,

You can go through the below articles to understand how to effectively prepare for GMAT. I suggest you to focus on learning the right methodology along with the concepts as GMAT mainly tests your application skills.

How to start your GMAT Preparation?

How to effectively plan your studies for GMAT?

The 3 key skills you need to develop to score well on GMAT

Make sure you choose the right resource which can help you with the methodology. And as you are a college student, a course which has an integrated study plan would be even better. Because, it would be very difficult to balance your studies and GMAT preparation. GMATWhiz is one such resource which provides you with an integrated study plan and helps you with the methodologies. You can get your personalized study plan for free by signing up for the free trial of GMATWhiz.

Hope it helped. If you wish to have a detailed discussion regarding the study strategy, you can get in touch with me using the below link.
