Hi Guys,

I am planning to take GMAT for the very first time but I am struggling to find best online prep provider for GMAT. I want some genuine reviews regarding it as I dnt want to waste my time and money on over hyped provider as I have never prepared for any aptitude tests and I have to start from very basics.
I have heard about few like Jamboree, Wizako, e-gmat etc. but I'm still not confident about their online classes as I am prefering that only.
It would be great if someone guide me towards it.

Thank you

Are you looking for video tutorial (on-demand) or live class by instructor? What's your budget? If you have a good budget go for live/private class held by instructor.

Hi Riya,

I just stumbled upon your post and thought I would just chime in my 2 cents to recommend Education Aisle to you. I have been preparing for quite some time and to be very honest it depends on how you learn as a student. You first need to ask yourself what kind of attention you feel you would need since you did mention you have never prepared for any aptitude test or rather standardized test. I have taken the GMAT a few times yet my highest score has been a 590. It was only recently that I understood I needed more than just an online portal with recorded lessons/notes and questions to answer. I actually needed to start digging in deep into my fundamentals as well as ask questions when I felt I needed some extra support. Honestly, there is no such thing as Best Online GMAT Prep provider, the question is how do you like to learn and what medium of study suits you as a result. If you are based in India and are looking for a small classroom study group online, I would highly recommend Education Aisle. Their instructor is very much approachable and you can clear any doubts with him 1-1 over phone and discuss any queries after your class. The materials are also pretty exhaustive. I found the quant material to be just that. For verbal, hands down SC has been approached right from the basics of grammar (check out the book reviews for SC Nirvana). CR and RC are pretty fine too (be ready to get hands dirty for these two sections!) and the highlight is that you can always bring up your doubts to the instructor for a personalized approach. The emphasis here is personalized learning. If that is your preferred study method, I would recommend Education Aisle. They have a trial class for verbal and quant. However, please do bear in mind what is best for someone else may not be the best for you. Do talk to a few of the prep companies and do their trials. This journey of GMAT and MBA itself is a huge gamble for many but if you would want to reap the rewards of self-discovery and mindset shift, you have to be willing to take the plunge to do so. Hope this helps Riya! All the best to you.
