Hi Guys,
I am planning to take GMAT for the very first time but I am struggling to find best online prep provider for GMAT. I want some genuine reviews regarding it as I dnt want to waste my time and money on over hyped provider as I have never prepared for any aptitude tests and I have to start from very basics.
I have heard about few like Jamboree, Wizako, e-gmat etc. but I'm still not confident about their online classes as I am prefering that only.
It would be great if someone guide me towards it.

Hello, Riya1728. I would suggest checking out reviews of online courses by verified GMAT Club members. No one can tell you what will best fit your own needs and learning preferences. If something seems too glowing, then you might have reason to be skeptical. (It goes without saying that you do not want to get testimonials from the site of the company itself.) I would pay particular attention to detailed reviews, positive or not. From client feedback I have gotten about such online courses, all my clients who have used Target Test Prep have found it helpful for Quant. You would need to supplement for Verbal, though. One person simply could not follow the e-GMAT method for Verbal questions, so we worked together one-on-one instead. Finally, one of my more recent clients told me that Magoosh was a waste of his money. He found the video tutorials for Verbal quite helpful, but he found the Quant side lacking, the in-house problems too difficult and not reflective of the types of questions he saw on the actual exam. Take of this information what you will. I have not used any of these products myself, and maybe these were just the reactions of these particular clients of mine. I am just sharing information, nothing more.
Good luck with your studies, however you go about them.

Since it sounds like you're just beginning your studies, then it would be a good idea to take a FULL-LENGTH practice CAT Test; you can take 2 for free at www.mba.com (and they come with some additional practice materials). If you want to do a little studying first, so that you can familiarize yourself with the basic content and question types, then that's okay - but you shouldn't wait too long to take that initial CAT. That score will give us a good sense of your natural strengths and weaknesses and will help provide a basis for comparison as you continue to study. A FULL CAT takes about 3.5 hours to complete, so make sure that you've set aside enough time to take it in one sitting. Once you have those scores, you should report back here and we can come up with a study plan.
I'd like to know a bit more about your timeline and goals:
1) What is your goal score?
2) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
3) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
