I am also appying to UoA MBa this 2nd Round before Jan 15th. Just a consideration if my profile could be a competitive candidate. McGill, McMaster, Dalhousie are in my list, and haven’t decided which is my top prior but I’m more with UoB.
Vietnamese, F, 27, graduated with BCom (Dounble majors in finance and mgmt) in New zealand, gpa A- (should be 3.67 on 4.0 scale), been working for 6+ years - 3 in Alibaba group as Cat Manager and 3 in big US fashion brand name as Mer Manager.
Ielts 7.0, plus some activities like participation in Terry Fox Run by CanCham.
Problems is, 1st GMAT score was only 560 (Q48 V25), will sit the next one this Nov 29th (may get to max 650 due to limited time of studying).
I know GMAT is a bit problem for me as I am still working so I do not have much time for study. Should I try to quit job and sit the test again (3rd time) before the deadline of 2nd round?

Ideally you should try and pull up your score to at least a 660 level. Your overall profile seems good but gmat is a big issue. Improve on your score and you stand a good chance.
