Waitlisted. Saw that a waitlisted applicant from R1 managed to not only get in but secured a 90k scholarship. Does that mean that the waitlisted students can have a scholarship if they are taken off of the waitlist? Sounds strange. Also, are there periods when the waitlisted students are expected to hear back? I presume the next big wave will be around mid-May when Round 3 will be over and most of the Round 2 students will choose their schools.

Yes, it depends on which round you applied for. For round 2, you have to accept your offer by April 28.

Hi! I'm a 2022 candidate from Nepal. Waitlisted R2 at Haas. (GRE: 321, Entrepreneurship/Healthcare background, Bachelors in Biochemistry from top 10 US liberal arts college) So, I also got an invite for a pre-recorded video interview, which doesn't have a deadline. But I wanted to get it over with it as soon as possible. However, I am travelling for work this week, and have an unpredictable schedule. Do you think having like 8-9 days between the decision and the interview is a giant red flag? Just need a day to recollect my thoughts and get into the mindset. P.S: pretty new in the forum! The world feels a little less lonely knowing there are people on similar boats as me.
