This waiting period is tough to handle.... I want to believe that since R2 has more volume they will be sending out more admits. But hope is thin now... :|
Here's quoting a famous movie dialogue: Let me tell you something my friend. Hope is a dangerous thing. Hope can drive a man insane :P

The hope is not thin guys. You are the one who makes it so. Prateek, you were informed that they are doing it in batches so just be patient. The official deadline is still in 2 days and we know apart from last Friday, there is no new announcement yet. It could be today, tomorrow or Friday.

Yeah ReddyP, it really is quite surprising but what is your background then?

BU also has a low yield so even a waitlist would still mean there's still a good chance ! It ain't over till it's over !

Indian IT professional with 3yrs exp (by july time frame)

Also do any one know if there are any instances when BU suggested students to take up MS-MBA though they have applied for General MBA?

ReddyP wow i am surprised you got the results you did from all those schools with such an awesome GMAT score ?....I really hope you get into this one!
I dearly wish for it :D
The quality of the application pool is getting better day by day!
We can only learn from our mistakes that we did for one school and take care we don't repeat them for the next ;)
For Tuck and Emory, not sure why I am not even invited for interview. (Probably essays!)
For UNC KF, its a Reco, for ISB its the interview.
For Olin - God only knows why hehe!!
And in case I get a D from Tepper, it would be because of my lower work ex of 3 yrs.

Rotman applied in round three...

I just saw an IITian with a similar score as that of ReddyP. Seems Indians having a tough time out there. May be TRUMP effect :P
BTW, congrats Jay2016 for your admit.
Believe me I've never been following the elections of any country (apart from India) as closely as I am following this one of the USA. And there goes a submission to Rotman 8-)

What's wrong with your reco? Are you already based in the US now?

I don't know why my location is shows as US. (If anyone can help, I will change that to India)
About reco, I got in touch with my recommender (off-shore Project Manager) and informed him that I will brief him about it tomorrow as it was to late into the day.
Sent him the reco link.
Got a mail from KF stating that they received my Reco (with in two hours). Story ends.

The approx class size is 150 so I doubt they may offer more than 200 spots by Round 2.... Chances are getting slimmer :(

sgk376, were you interviewed in the end? If not, then I have to probably agree with you that the chance is slim unfortunately.

I think that they will be rolling out the admits on Friday! Not many have received an admit in round 2 which is supposedly the most favoured round. Don't lose hope. Good luck to all! :)
