Any Indian applicants here who interviewed on Skype? can you share the experience? Also, did the admissions office share who the interviewer will be before the date (adcom, alumni) ? I have mine on Skype on 4th Feb but have only received time and date details. And they asked me to share my Skype ID and a backup contact number...

3. A time when took an unexpected leadership role
4. A time when you decided something that did not went well
5.What do you like to do on free time

hello all.. Just got done with my Skype Interview with Jen Connors (Assistant Director). It lasted for 30 mins exact and below questions were asked :

1) Walk through your resume
2) Why MBA? Why now?
3) Post-MBA career goals
4) Why Questrom ? This was the only question where my response was followed by an open interaction (regarding the school )
5) Tell me about an unexpected leadership experience
6) Tell me about about a time when you were innovative at workplace

Overall a good experience. As others have also noted they do not integrate your answers into the interview process. But few observations I made :

A) The questions you ask the interviewer are very important. They look forward to smart questions which show how interested you genuinely are in the program. My 3 questions were met with a lot of enthusiasm and highly interactive responses.
B) Response to Why Questrom is the one they look forward to the most.

All the best to others. Decisions deadline is 4th March but International students might start hearing a week early.

The interview was fine. There was some glitch with my Skype configuration so they interviewed me on telephone. That's the only dowside I beleive was there to my interview. Rest everything went well.
She asked questions like
Walk me through your resume
Why mba
Why BU
Which company are you targeting
Long term goal!
That was it I guess.

Fingers crossed! I just hope that the Skype issue doesn't do any damage! :/

I see quite a few people have chosen the Video essay over the written essay. Is there a reason for this choice? As per the website (and confirmed from the college), they dont have a preference of one over the other.

I'm equally comfortable with either one - can someone help me pick which method i should opt for?

Also, how many here are signing up for the MS + MBA dual degree course?
