The person whom I was mentioning did receive an email confirming that his application is complete as his application will be reviewed in EA round.. he also did an open interview.. but he didn’t get the mail which was rolled out on 22nd September.. so he hasn’t received any mail till now
All I know is Fuqua is very picky.. they are not wowed by high scores, not wowed by applicants going to “top” colleges and getting “top” grades… they look for something more and what that is I have no clue!

Okay it’s really strange.. few people who interviewed in open interview round got a mail asking them to confirm the interview. Few didn’t receive any mail.. not sure if it is a technical glitch or intentional
No doubt it’s strange.
How many among others who didn’t receive any intimation at all?? (Not interviewed as well)

Did you receive an email on or about 12th September confirming that your EA application was complete?
Yup! The portal shows application status as submitted. I received the submission confirmation email on the 8th though.
Here’s what the mail said:
“ Congratulations - your application to the Daytime MBA is now complete and will be reviewed in Early Action round! We understand that it takes a lot of time and effort to put together your application. Our team is excited to begin reviewing your application and learning more about you. You will find the decision release date for Early Action round in your applicant portal.”
