I looked at last year's sticky. The R1 notification deadline was Dec 4th and people were starting to hear back on the 3rd. If this year is similar we may begin hearing back tomorrow. (Please!)
Saw that as well- looks like calls started coming in mid-afternoon EST. Also, it looked like not every admit received a phone call.. some found out through the online portal which seems interesting.Best of luck everyone, hopefully it really is just 24 hours before we find out!!!
Both these tit-bits are good and bad news at the same time! Good luck everybody! Let the anxious and constant phone and application portal staring begin!

I received interview invite today. In the email, it mentioned I can interview in NYC, and as I'm from New York, I was hoping to take advantage of this. My question is though, will not physically going to campus to interview hurt my chances?

Hi Everybody,
First of all I would like to apologize if this is wrong thread to post this question. But I did not find any place to ask questions about the relative strengths of business schools before applying.
I am looking to apply to the one year mba program in the US and especially considering between the following programs:
Emory one year - Mendoza (one year) - Marshall IBEAR.
and following is my profile:
Profile - Indian, Male, IT - Engineer
Work - ex - 8.5 years of work experience. Currently with Oracle India.
Decent acads - 10- 74.2%, 12-87.3%, B-Tech - 68.4%
GMAT Score - 680 - (Q48, V35, IR3, AWA- 5.5)
With the above information, Can anybody guide me to which of the three schools that I would be a strong contender?
What are the prospects for any scholarships?
Also, Which of the 3 colleges has good post career placement opportunities?
Sorry if this is not the right thread to discuss this question. Would be happy if somebody can navigate me to the appropriate section?
