I personally feel a bit tensed as there is only a month left and invites are not yet sent :(

may be they are working like vanderbilt....vanderbilt doesnt evaluate essay beforehand.
Best way would be to keep mum at your end unless asked for

Slots were available but were booked by other people. If it’s absolutely not possible give them the explanation and request them

You can say you told a friend to have a look and they inadvertently made mistakes and that Goizueta is your top priority in the interview

I was in the same situation. I emailed them asking if they can fit me into an alternate slot and they agreed. Don’t stress about it, just send them a not asap

Typo is totally different from mentioning another school is their essay. It gives a shabby impression.
Adcom knows that students apply to multiple schools but reading another schools’ name in their essay is something that nobody would appreciate.
I hope adcom considers this as a kind of typo and sees what he has mentioned specifically about Emory
