Does anyone else feel like there are fewer interview invites this year compared to the same time last year, or is that my wishful thinking? It looks like last year, 17% of round 1 GMAT Club applicants interviewed, but so far, only 6% have been invited to interview.

Some "traditional" HBS candidates I've checked with (top consulting firm, great GMAT score, great undergrad experience) havent' gotten an interview invite yet...purely anecdotal but just seems strange since I would expect these people to make up 15-20% of the class based on past profiles

I think a lot of online forums (along with HBS's ambiguity about # of invites per day) suggest fewer invites on the first two days than last year. To me, this makes more sense than the alternative explanation, which is a dramatic decrease in people sharing their results online.

Maybe. Today was definitely way more muted than Day 1. Also another observation is theres hardly any good news thus far for the more traditional applicants - even in this forum alone I barely see any east coast management consulting folks.

Question to those who already scheduled their interviews:

When you log back in to your application, is there any confirmation of your interview being scheduled?

When I log back in, the page looks as if I did not pick a time yet and I still need to pick one.

When I registered yesterday I was clicking around on a few different time-slots trying to find one as they were all being quickly booked. On the interview information site it says your interview will be cancelled if you attempt to book multiple time slots....
