Merry Christmas everyone! I am from West Africa and I will only be able to apply in round 3. Is this advisable? I am scheduled to take the GMAT in February 2018.The GMAT is the only part of my application pending.

Hi all- does anyone know if IESE accepts updated GMAT scores after the deadline?

I'm considering rescheduling my GMAT retake to Jan 23rd which is 2 weeks after their R2 deadline and would like to know if I can go ahead and submit my application by their deadline and send updated unofficial scores two weeks later?

I sent an email but they're closed and the deadline to reschedule my GMAT is Jan 1st.

Hi

I think you have to apply with a gmat score, but after that, you can update your score until the last few (2) weeks before final decision. I would take the gmat before the deadline and then retake later if necessary. On another note, I think you can apply without letters of recommendation but these have to be sent within the 2 weeks after the deadline. You can also always ask the admissions people by mail and they will be happy to help. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

Hi,
In IESE's application form, I am unable to find the section wherein the professional qualification details can be entered. Can someone please guide?

I had the same query about professional qualifications. I called admission representative and they suggested that its not required. mentioning qualifications in CV would suffice.

Hi Husayn87, what is your profile if you don't mind sharing? If you are looking for scholarship then I would strongly recommend to apply next year R1 or R2.

to be fair, if Husayn87 doesn't want to wait, and doesn't mind the 200 euro application fee, he can always try to get in this year (considering GMAT is the only thing pending, meaning he did the work on the essays already). If he needs a scholarship and doesn't get one he can always decline this year and let them know he'll try again next year.

I am not sure if declining this year and again trying next year would help his case. I don't think it would go down well with admissions if you first decline what they offered and then you apply again. If you mean deferral then not sure if they allow you to apply for scholarship next year.

you have a point, to be fair, best course of action, wouldn't be to ask on this forum, but ask his admissions associate director.
if he has the application ongoing, he should be in contact with somebody:
- lay out the issue, and ask for input
they are in the best position to tell you what to do in your situation.
