Question: Why do you want an MBA?
This should be your most expected interview question, so prepare your answer really well. Talk about your career goals and why they require an MBA.
Our ISB alum consultant gives a tip that you should record your answer for why MBA and then match it with what you wrote in the essays. Chances are that your spoken answer will be inconsistent with what you wrote.
How do you maintain consistency? By being very clear about your career goals. If you have to go round about the bush to explain your career goals at the time of the interview, then you do not have the clarity. You will open yourself to further cross questioning, or the grilling experience, which everybody dislikes.
So practice your answer well and make a clear statement, tying your goals to your answer for why MBA!
