Calling all ISB Applicants - (2017 Intake) Class of 2018

routerpouter/mshrek - same problem. On 18th, I replied to their e-mail saying I want to interview in Hyd - but no acknowledgement from their side yet. Quite weird. My interview window is Oct 22-31.

Here's my take on Early decision:
1) The confirmation of admission will be received by 10th November.
2) The last date for acceptance of offer is 10 days after receipt of offer. That makes the last date : 20th November
3) We are required to pay 2,50,000 INR for acceptance.
The above analysis translates to "We are doomed" for me. Most US universities will declare their results in mid December. So, in actuality we will not be able to vie for those universities. This system will put us in a very tragic situation: 1) Either let go ISB or 2) Forget 2,50,000 INR.

Has any interview been scheduled in Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi or Kolkata under early decision?

And how many of your application status has changed from Application Submitted online to Completed or any other?

How many of you have received mail from ISB to confirm your availability for interview for dates after 10 Nov?

Is there any such mails? Did you recieve a mail asking for confirmation ?

A member on paagalyguy.com was, by mistake, kept BCC in a mail sent to Alumni regarding their availability to conduct interviews on certain dates. The mail was sent by Associate Director – Admissions & Financial Aid, ISB.

"Dear all, 
Good Morning! Please find the dates for interviews in Round-1: Hyderabad – 22/23 Oct + All weekends in Nov. Mumbai - 13/14 Nov. Delhi - 20/21 Nov. Bengaluru – 27/28 Nov. Chennai – 9th Nov. Kolkata – 6th Nov. Do let me know the dates that will suit you to be able to join."

So, plan and prep accordingly (and hope they don't change the dates)

I would be more inclined to believe it is not false.

Only way to know for sure is cross-verify with an Alum.

Has ISB started rolling out interview calls? I saw various admission consultants boasting about their various students receiving an interview call. I applied in Round 1 and I was getting a bit anxious about the chances to receive a call.

Did anyone got the interview confirmation??

Hi all,

I had my skype interview on 22nd. I don't think it went well.

I have already done an MBA a couple of years back. So, i feared they will ask me a couple of questions regarding why second MBA.
However, my interview went for 20 minutes and they only kept on asking me about this only.

No other questions at all. No why ISB, or behavioral questions.

GPA- 3.3
5 years of work-ex

I think the school is still evaluating the applications. Keep your fingers crossed.

Could you please let us know , how many panelists were there ? How confortable were you with the skype mode of interview, and what was the interview time ? Thanks !

Skype mode was very comfortable. Interview at 2pm. I was told i was the first interview they conducted this season

This was sent in a mail by ISB:

Verification - Submitted documents will be verified.
Shortlisting - All verified applications will be reviewed for making interview calls.
Interviews - Only shortlisted candidates will be interviewed, anytime between 22 Oct and 30 Nov, 2016. A notice of at least 5 days will be provided over e-mail for the interview.
Decision 1 - Candidates interviewed between Oct 22 and Nov 06 will receive offer decision (Selected/Rejected/Waitlist) on Nov 10, 2016.
Decision 2 - Candidates interviewed between Nov 10 and Nov 30 will receive offer decision (Selected/Rejected/Waitlist) on Dec 05, 2016.
Reject Notification - All candidates who were not interviewed will be notified over e-mail on Dec 05, 2016.

Based on decision 1 & 2 dates, interview can may start somewhere this week and then they will keep us hanging throughout November!
