Hi guys, I'm 80% going to do my MBA in the US but would like to know the likelihood of me getting into ISB.
12th - 91.2%
UG - 7.88
GMAT FE - 715
Work ex - over 4.5 years (by start of mba) in equity research for a ~20 Bn AUM fund; Covered 2 major investments of about 0.5 Bn$ in addition to others
Certifications:
1. CFA Level 1 90th percentile
2. IIMB Micromasters degree in business management through Edx
Key extra curriculars:
1.Started an initiative aimed at removing waste from water bodies (significant progress with over 150 kgs removed till date and profits used to support locals)
2.During undergrad, captain and head of business for the automotive racing club, leading over 30 members to compete nationally and internationally - won several team and individual awards in various competitions
3.During undergrad, was also part of an initiative aimed at empowering underprivileged students through education
4. Ex- division 1 football player (district), Played tennis at the highest level (but only till 2016), and amateur state muay thai

Good scores in 10th and 12th. B.Tech GPA is on the lower side but IITD brand might help. GMAT FE should be ending with 5, 660 isn’t possible. Please confirm. Work ex is unique and impactful. What is it that you are planning to achieve post MBA from ISB? It should have some connection to your background/experience. Add some activities beyond work and academics for a more balanced profile. Great academics and exceptional GMAT score. Which UG college? Work ex in equity research is also a solid role with decent tenure of ~4.5 years. Some standout extra-curriculars with social impact. You have a great chance at both ISB and US B-Schools. Ensure to be very clear with your post MBA goals and communicate the same clearly in your applications. Wish you the best!
