They haven’t specifically the timezone in the CA invite

But it is in CST

Make sure to convert the time to your timezone from CST

Is there a Kira assessment debrief for Rice video assessment?

Can someone please share the link here?

How is the video assessment different from community assessment?

The video assessment is to prove you speak English. The community assessment is a normal interview.

Hi everyone

I spoke to one of the round 1 admits and they told me that around 100 students were admitted in R1. Given the current class strength, around 80-100 seats are left to be filled from round 2 and 3.

Since many people have not updated the decision tracker, can we have a count of the applicants here who have given both virtual and community assessment from round 2 and 3 so far to get an idea of our chances of admit?

The yield rate of the school is roughly 50% so I don’t think 100 seats would have been filled by now.

no, it means around 360 students will receive admits but eventually around 180 will accept the admit

Many round 1 admitted candidates decline the offer. I, for example, have not paid the deposit for Rice Jones, so you can certainly expect plenty of room available for round 2 intake.

I was asked same questions as mentioned below. A second-year Pakistani student was my interviewer. It lasted for about 35 minutes.

Most questions revolved around the following:

1. Walk me through your resume
2. Why Rice
3. What are your motivations for doing an MBA
4. Short-term and long-term goals and Plan B in case they don’t work out
5. Experience with diversity
6. What factors will I keep in mind while finalizing a school
8. Any questions that I had for him

It was a blind interview and was quite conversational.

Have you received your decision yet?

I think things should be fine for R2, they have a decent class size so a good amount of seats would still be available. If it helps, I declined my offer too from R1 :)
