Onwards means decisions start going out from that day. I remember people received decisions one week later as well from the given date on the website for R1 notifications.

one of my friends received an admit with full ride today. He had applied for consortium fellowship

any round 1 admits, can you let us know wether rice usually declares result before the given date?

It’s usually up to one week from the given date. I haven’t heard of decisions coming before the date from Rice.
