Well, not sure how true this is. But what my Admissions consultant told me was that the on-location interviews that Kelley conducts (e.g. in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru etc.) are usually for the MBA in MIS concentration, as that's the sole concentration that gets a lot of applications from India. For others, usually an invite comes, but only for a Skype interview.
In addition, I guess a lot of you must have gotten that email from Kelley that said, "With respect to interviews, not all candidates will be invited to interview. For those who are invited, an invitation can come at any point in the review process up until shortly before decisions are released."
So let's keep hoping.

I know someone, from last year, who got an interview invite days after everyone had been interviewed. And he was the one who got admitted, finally! Hope that is the case this time too.

If I remember correctly, Kelley had started rolling out and completing interviews even before the deadline for submission, 15th Oct, 2015. If that's the case, then probably those who have received invites might have submitted the application much before the deadline and those still waiting in the latter stages. If that's the case, then there's still hope for people who submitted the application closer to the deadline (including me :))

If there is someone who submitted the application near the deadline and received interview invite, please comment. In that case, my theory goes for a toss.

I submitted my app on the 12th of October which I believe is pretty close to the deadline and I have received an interview invite.

Hi Akshay,

You are welcome. The final decision for R1 applications is on 20th DEC. So there is still a lot of time and they might as well conduct Skype/Phone interviews over the next few weeks. So if I were you, I would not lose hope till end of Nov, at least.

I got two mails from Kelley after submitting my application. One for uploading financial documents and other for sending academic records to initiate review.
I know the financial documents don't need to be submitted, but what about the other mail? Has anyone else received this? Please help!

Are there any re-applicants in here? If so, have you received a call or still waiting?

Even I submitted the application just one day prior to deadline and I have completed my interview (Skype) yesterday. I think they are releasing the invites in batches due to resource constraint, so u still have fair chances... all the best :)

Hey guys..got done with my interview. Had a great experience chatting with Jim Holmen. Mine was the first in India and the conversation was very relaxing. The questions were the usual...why MBA? why kelley? how would your peers describe you? What would they miss the most when you quit your company? What is your best quality? How would you influence your peers at Kelley?
and then I asked my questions.
So just be relaxed, be confident. Considering this is a face to face interview, body language matters much more than in a skype interview. All the best to everyone who is yet to be interviewed.

Good Luck Soham.... Kelley is like that. People are exceptionally nice here!
Others... I am a current 1st year student at Kelley. Though not an official spokesperson, would be happy to answer any general questions about Kelley.

Maybe those already notified about the interview can clarify the query regarding addl documentation above?
The financial documents and dependent info links are on the IStart page, for which the login details are sent upon receipt of the application (looks like an auto mailer). A close reading of the content there indicates that those details would be required 'from the time you apply to the time you land on campus'. So I don't think there is anything to be unduly worried about, as yet, since the notification deadline is well off, on 20 Dec ! :)

You are right about the financial documents.
Regarding academic records, did you upload your transcripts?
What items does it show in iStart page in "Things You Need to Do" section?
